Northampton's First Dishcrawl

On May 21st, I will be attending the very first event of its kind in Northampton, MA: Dishcrawl. Maybe you're more familiar with the term "pubcrawl"? Most pubcrawls in Northampton seem to involve zombies or pirates or some such theme... But just imagine it as a similar concept (sans costumes) specifically for food-loving peoples (not that one can't imbibe).

Here's a little blurb from their official press release:
Dishcrawl, a national start-up, is bringing gourmet food tours to the Pioneer Valley. Similar to a pub crawl, a Dishcrawl brings foodies to four of the eateries that define their city. Participants will get to experience their community in a whole new way: walking, talking and eating!

I have no idea what we will be taste-testing or which fabulous restaurant is on the roster... which, in my opinion, makes it even more charming. Ticket-holders aren't told locations until 48 hours before the Dishcrawl. As someone who has lived in/around Northampton for almost 10 years, I am pretty darn excited to see which eateries will be chosen to represent the culinary identity of our little city.

So that means you should probably grab yourself a ticket too before they're all sold out. Reservations are $45 per person and can be purchased via http://dishcrawl.com/pioneervalley/.

I would love to meet some blog-reading faces and chat about food-snobbery of all kinds. Please say I'll see you there?
